“Weaving isn’t just an art form; it carries philosophy, oral history, and spirituality. When shared without context, it risks losing its sacredness.” Diné Venancio Aragón
Weaving dates back to prehistoric times, one of the oldest human crafts was and is integral to the development of societies around the globe. The twists and turns, the knots and frays, interlacing warp and weft threads, with color, texture, and pattern tell us stories, cultural expressions and identity, Weaving can create functional textiles, tapestries, and in art is communicating symbolic meaning.
